BioMart - REST and SOAP

BioMart web service provides unified access to several databases housed at EBI/Sanger such as Ensembl Vertebrates, Ensembl Bacteria, Ensembl Protists, Ensembl Metazoa, Ensembl Variation, Ensembl Vega, Uniprot, PRIDE, HGNC & EU Rat Mart. The service also provides federated access to number of databases outside EBI including Reactome Pathways, PepSeeker, Gramene and Wormbase. For an up-to-date list of datasets, please visit, http://www.biomart.org
BioMart web service has REST style end-point as well as SOAP (WSDL document literal) end-point. All the datasets are accessible through XML-based generic querying interface which also enables data integration from local and remote data sources. Transcription factor (TF)
Transcription factor (TF) binding sites are typically 5–15 nt long and their consensus is generally described by position weight matrices (PWMs) that assign a weight to each possible nucleotide in each position of the putative binding site based on the observed 642-566 dumps occurrence of that nucleotide in the known promoter elements. Several publicly available programs to locate promoter elements in DNA sequences have been developed (3) but they do not show a satisfactory level of accuracy because of the remarkable level of degeneracy of single promoter 642-972 dumps elements that contaminate prediction with a huge number of false positives. A remarkable increase in selectivity can be obtained by considering two or more TF-binding sites with a defined order, orientation and spacing. HP0-J22 dumps UTR-localized structural elements whose biological activity has been demonstrated experimentally include the iron responsive element (IRE) (4), the histone 3′ 000-377 dumps UTR structure (5) and many others which play crucial functional roles
SOAP
Use anti-bacterial soap. rince, lather for 20 seconds, thats how long it takes for the soap to kill any bacteria, and then rince for another 40 seconds. ta-da, no soap, no bacteria.
